Introduction: In clinical practice, intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) injection intervals for patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) are based on disease activity, with active or recurrent disease requiring more frequent injections. Injection interval modification criteria differ from those used in clinical trials, thereby potentially affecting treatment outcomes. This analysis evaluated the potential impact of applying disease activity criteria from recent clinical trials (TENAYA/LUCERNE; HAWK/HARRIER; PULSAR) on the decision to extend injection intervals in real-world patients commenced on faricimab after the loading phase of treatment and at 12 months.

Recently, the interaction of chiral objects with spin currents has attracted enormous attention from both scientific and technological perspectives. Of particular interest is the current-driven motion of chiral topological excitations such as chiral magnetic domain walls in chiral three-dimensional magnetic structures that could allow for high-density memory-storage devices.

These microorganisms produce various intracellular and extracellular biomolecules that enable adaptation, tolerance, and utilization of such extreme environments. Recognizing the growing industrial demand for thermostable lipases, this study focuses on the isolation, characterization, and optimization of lipase-producing bacteria from medicinal wastewater collected from a factory in North 24 Parganas, Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

This study explores how platinum therapy impacts these cells in a non-genetic manner and the role of hypoxia in this process. Previously, we identified a novel population of CSCs exhibiting an "altruistic" phenotype, sacrificing self-renewal to promote niche defense (tumor stemness defense, TSD), potentially protecting a dormant subpopulation of CSCs, the reawakening CSC (R-CSC) retaining stress memory.

The primary focus of this research is to study the potential impact of parental education on under five children death in Bangladesh utilizing a secondary dataset extracted from the Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS), 2017-18. The total count of deceased children within a family is a non-negative numerical variable.
