Purpose: Dengue virus, a major global health concern, exhibits significant genetic diversity, leading to distinct serotypes and genotypes. Dengue is the second most common disease spread by mosquitoes that infect humans, after malaria. In recent decades, there has also been a shift in the tendencies of virus transmission from urban to peri-urban and rural settings.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAmong popular radio metal chelators, DOTA and NOTA have been remarkably considered in radionuclide therapy and imaging studies due to several advantages in pharmacology. Here, we developed a practical and general method for assembling DOTA and NOTA in the solid phase peptide (pseudo-dilute conditions) using a wide range of solvents with easily accessible and economical feedstocks, which mitigated unprecedented challenges associated with previously reported methods. This upgraded approach enabled an efficient installation of these two chelators on various bioactive peptide sequences.

However, there has been little work characterizing areas of improvement. This project aimed to understand cystectomy patients' experiences and to identify patient-centered methods to improve perioperative support.

International Consensus Document of 2022 suggested that agar dilution was unacceptable due to varying results in the literature.
Methods: The study was designed to evaluate the agar dilution method for colistin susceptibility in CRE isolates compared to CBDE.
Objective: To utilize patient feedback to identify areas of need for information and ways to improve delivery of education, due to recognition that cystectomy and urinary diversion is a complex operation often overwhelming patients and caregivers.
Methods: We conducted 5 focus groups of bladder cancer patients (separated by gender and diversion type) treated with cystectomy and urinary diversion (n = 17). Questions focused on areas of improvement for patient education.
