The Relationship of Nursing Teamwork and Job Satisfaction in Hospitals.

Introduction: Teamwork is identified as a key contributor to patient safety and good teamwork is recognized as one of the presumptions of healthy work environment in nursing. The importance of job satisfaction in nursing has repeatedly been confirmed, but only recently has the association of job satisfaction and nursing teamwork been identified.

Objective: To identify the level of nursing teamwork in hospitals in Iceland and its relationship with job satisfaction.

Educational and personal burnout and burnout regarding collaborating with fellow university nursing students during COVID-19 in 2020-2021.

Background: Knowledge is lacking about the effects of COVID-19 on nursing students' burnout symptoms. Burnout can lead to negative feelings and behaviours towards learning and poor mental health.

Ignoring instead of chasing after coagulation factor VII during warfarin management: an interrupted time series study.

During warfarin management, variability in prothrombin time-based international normalized ratio (PT-INR) is caused, in part, by clinically inconsequential fluctuations in factor VII (FVII). The new factor II and X (Fiix)-prothrombin time (Fiix-PT) and Fiix-normalized ratio (Fiix-NR), unlike PT-INR, are only affected by reduced FII and FX. We assessed the incidence of thromboembolism (TE) and major bleeding (MB) in all 2667 patients on maintenance-phase warfarin managed at our anticoagulation management service during 30 months; 12 months prior to and 18 months after replacing PT-INR monitoring with Fiix-NR monitoring.
