Autologous Tenon's capsule graft for the management of subfoveal detachment due to myopic paracentral macular break.

Purpose: To report a novel surgical technique using an autologous Tenon capsule graft (ATG) after vitrectomy for treating paracentral breaks in pathological myopia.

Methods: A single case report of a patient with incipient subfoveal detachment and a paracentral break. Pars plana vitrectomy was performed, and next, an ATG was harvested and tucked into the break, followed by final air endotamponade.

We aimed to characterize the gut microbiota of Tunisian participants with and without diabetes.We enrolled ten participants with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM), ten patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and 11 subjects without diabetes.

Functionalization of quantum dots (QDs) with a single biomolecular tag using traditional approaches in bulk solution has met with limited success. DNA polyhedra consist of an internal void bounded by a well-defined three-dimensional structured surface. The void can house cargo and the surface can be functionalized with stoichiometric and spatial precision.
