Floodplain wetlands are biologically rich and productive ecosystems that can capture carbon (C) from the atmosphere through macrophytes and phytoplanktons and hold it in soil for a long time thus playing a critical role in mitigating climate change. The Assam state of India has about 1392 floodplain wetlands engulfing around 100,000 ha area in the Brahmaputra and Barak River basin. In the present study, five different wetlands in the middle Assam viz.

Among these, MMP-12 is one of the crucial MMPs that contributes to various disease states including different types of cancers and other major pathophysiological conditions including COPD, asthma, emphysema, skin diseases, arthritis, vascular diseases, and neurological disorders. The majority of the MMP-12 inhibitors should have three constitutional pharmacophoric features (i.

However, toxicity, relapse, and drug resistance continue to pose major challenges in the clinical treatment of CML. The progression of leukemia is directly connected to higher expression levels and enzymatic actions of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2).

Here, using first-principles calculations on thin films of the antiferromagnetic topological insulator MnBiTe, we demonstrate how the generalized optical weight arising from the absorptive part of the optical conductivity can be used to probe the ground-state quantum geometry and topology. We show that three-septuple-layer MnBiTe film exhibit an enhanced, almost-perfect magnetic circular dichroism for a narrow photon energy window in the infrared region.

They offer deeper insight into various physiological and pathological processes which include reproductive health. This review delves into their diagnostic potential across a spectrum of reproductive disorders, including conditions affecting ovarian function, male infertility and post pregnancy issues.
