Holistic Approach for the Early Detection of Oral Cancer: A Comprehensive Training Module.

Objectives: Oral cancer is significantly high in India, and screening is an effective approach to downstage the disease. Educating Community Health Workers (CHWs) on early oral cancer detection is an effective step toward reducing the burden and serves as a first step toward facilitating the transfer of knowledge. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most aggressive type of glioma and is often resistant to traditional therapies. Evidence suggests that glioma stem cells (GSCs) contribute to this resistance. Mithramycin (Mit-A) targets GSCs and exhibits antitumor activity in GBM by affecting transcriptional targets such as SRY-related HMG-box transcription factor 2 (SOX2), oligodendrocyte lineage transcription factor 2 (OLIG2), and zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1).

Pupil vignetting artifact on optical coherence tomography angiography.

Purpose: To discuss the features of an artifact on optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA), termed "pupil vignetting artifact," and describe how it may masquerade as true chorioretinal pathology.

Design: This was a retrospective, observational case series.

Methods: The authors studied 12 eyes at a vitreoretinal clinic in Eastern India, reviewing a dark shadow such as an artifact on OCTA images.
