Purpose: To report OCTA (Optical coherence tomography angiography) characteristics of bilateral MacTel type 1 with capillary obliteration.

Method: Colour fundus photo (CFP), OCT angiography (OCTA), Fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA), Fundus autofluorescence (FAF).

Result: We describe three cases of bilateral MacTel Type 1 with a special emphasis on OCTA characteristics.

We have described the hyperreflective ganglion cell layer band (HGCB) in a series of cases of gyrate atrophy. Clinical fundus examination and multimodal imaging which included optical coherence tomography (OCT) was done in all cases. Four patients (one male, three female) were studied.

Purpose: To report occurrence of central serous chorioretinopathy(CSCR) which mimicked recurrence of ODP maculopathy in a young adult in whom surgery for the same had been done.

The chemical synthesis of guanosine nucleosides generates both the and regioisomers, which require careful separation to obtain the desired isomer. To preferentially obtain the isomer, a bulky diphenylcarbamoyl (DPC) group can be installed at the position of guanine. However, installation of the DPC group presents a challenging task due to low solubility of the -acetyl protected guanine.

Bacterial membrane porins facilitate the translocation of small molecules while restricting large molecules, and this mechanism remains elusive at the molecular level. Here, we investigate the selective uptake of large cyclic sugars across an unusual passive membrane transporter, CymA, comprising a charged zone and a constricting N terminus segment. Using a combination of electrical recordings, protein mutagenesis and molecular dynamics simulations, we establish substrate translocation across CymA governed by the electrostatic pore properties and conformational dynamics of the constriction segment.
