The past decade has witnessed a growth spurt in aerial pesticide application by plant protection unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). However, compared to the traditional ground application, their operation characteristics of low capacity and high concentration put forward rather higher requirements for the wettability of pesticide solutions on the target crop surface, which was a critical link to the pesticide efficiency. Tank mix of adjuvants is a common measure to modify the spray liquid wettability during foliar pesticide application.

Antagonistic peptide Leu-Ser-Lys-Leu (LSKL) is capable of blocking the transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) signaling pathway and exhibits anti-fibrotic effects. Herein, we constructed LSKL nanoparticles (NPs) based on an alkaline phosphatase (ALP)-instructed self-assembly strategy for improving its specific therapeutic effect against liver fibrosis.

Objective: The study aims to identify risk factors associated with cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease and to develop a predictive model to facilitate early clinical detection, diagnosis, and management, thereby enhancing patient prognosis and quality of life.

Methods: A total of 351 PD patients were enrolled from the Department of Neurology at the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University between January 2022 and December 2023. Cognitive function was evaluated using the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scale, and patients were subsequently categorized into cognitively normal (PD-NC) and cognitively impaired (PD-CI) groups.

A new strategy for the construction of a chiral 4-alkoxy-4-chromene skeleton was reported. A series of chiral 4-alkoxy-4-chromenes containing the trifluoromethyl group were obtained in good yields (up to 80% yield) and excellent enantioselectivity (up to 93% ee).

C-N axially chiral compounds represent an important class of atropisomers that are prevalent in bioactive and material molecules. Despite recent advances in synthetic methodologies, the asymmetric construction of atropisomers featuring multiple C-N axes has been rarely explored, significantly limiting their further applications. Herein, we report a novel atroposelective synthesis of diaxially chiral pyridoindolones featuring both six-five and six-six C-N axes through cobalt-catalyzed asymmetric C-H annulation.
