[Double-tract reconstruction after gastrectomy for gastric cancer in patients with concomitant cardiovascular diseases].

Objective: To demonstrate the capabilities and advantages of double-tract reconstruction after gastrectomy for gastric cancer and simultaneous approach in surgical treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases and gastric cancer.

Material And Methods: We present two cases of double-tract reconstruction after gastrectomy and the gastric stump extirpation as a part of simultaneous surgical approach to patients with gastric cancer and cardiovascular diseases. A 62-year-old patient underwent simultaneous gastrectomy with double-tract reconstruction (for the first time In Russia) and aortofemoral replacement.

Uncommon using of the pulmonary homograft in oncological case - three years follow up.

Introduction: There are enough cases of colorectal cancer with liver metastasis, but inferior vena cava infiltraion with dissemination to the right atrium is an infrequent event.

Presentation Of Case: This is the first case of surgical treatment of recurrent liver metastasis with the infiltration to the inferior vena cava and to the right atrium of the heart, using a cryopreserved pulmonary homograft.

Discussion: The choice of a cryopreserved pulmonary homograft was preferred by the need for a radical and wide resection of tissues involved in the metastasis, as well as to potentially reduce the risk of thrombosis in the short- and long-term postoperative period.

[Surgical treatment of extensive metastatic tumor of the left ribs III-V and lung in 13 years after resection of cylindroma of the soft palate].

Metastatic chest lesion is rare in patients with soft palate tumors. We present a 52-year-old patient with metastatic lesion of the left ribs III-V and lung in 13 years after resection of cylindroma of the soft palate. The patient underwent successful chest reconstruction and atypical resection of the left lung.

Surgical treatment of renal cell carcinoma with tumor thrombosis of the inferior vena cava and the right heart: How we do it.

Objective: Renal cell carcinoma with inferior vena cava thrombosis is a rare disease with a poor prognosis without surgical treatment. We report our 11-year experience in the surgical treatment of renal cell carcinoma with extension of the inferior vena cava.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of patients undergoing surgical treatment for renal cell carcinoma with invasion of the inferior vena cava in two hospitals from May 2010 to March 2021.

Aortic homograft implantation after Ozaki procedure: Case report.

Introduction And Importance: The infective endocarditis incidence data for patients undergoing aortic valve neocuspidization with glutaraldehyde-treated autologous pericardium (Ozaki procedure) are rare, and the optimal surgical treatment strategy remains unclear.

Case Presentation: This is the first case report of surgical treatment of infective endocarditis of aortic valve with cryopreserved homograft in an athlete with previously performed Ozaki procedure.

Clinical Discussion: The choice of homograft was dictated by the young age of the patient; professional activity as an athlete; refusal of anticoagulants and the need for wide excision of compromised tissues to mitigate potential risk of spread of infection as well as its recurrence.
