Symmetry breaking has been shown to reveal interesting phenomena in physical systems. A notable example is the fundamental work of Otto Stern and Walther Gerlach [Stern and Zerlach, Z. Physik9, 349 (1922)10.

The aim of this systematic review was to compare outcomes of DM versus conventional fixed-bearing (FB) implants in revision total hip arthroplasty (rTHA).
Methods: A comprehensive search was performed using the PubMed, Embase, and MEDLINE databases between January 2000 and 2023.
Quantum interference is a central resource in many quantum-enhanced tasks, from computation to communication. While usually occurring between identical photons, it can also be enabled by performing projective measurements that render the photons indistinguishable, a process known as quantum erasing. Structured light forms another hallmark of photonics, achieved by manipulating the degrees of freedom of light, and enables a multitude of applications in both classical and quantum regimes.

Doing so with high-dimensional states offers the promise of higher information capacity and improved resilience to noise, but progress to date has been limited. Here we demonstrate how a nonlinear parametric process allows for arbitrary high-dimensional state projections in the spatial degree of freedom, where a strong coherent field enhances the probability of the process.

Although many studies have compared two-hole dynamic hip screw (DHS) versus multiple cannulated cancellous screw (CCS) fixation for undisplaced intracapsular fractured neck of femurs (NOF), there is no consensus on which surgical technique results in better outcomes. The aim of our study was to compare DHS and CCS for undisplaced NOFs.
