Background: During head and neck (HN) radiation therapy, patients may undergo anatomical changes due to tumor shrinkage or weight loss. For these patients, adaptive radiation therapy (ART) is required to correct treatment plans and to ensure that the prescribed radiation dose is delivered to the tumor while minimizing dose to the surrounding organs-at-risk (OARs). Patient pre-treatment images and segmentation labels are always available during ART and may be incorporated into deep learning (DL) auto-segmentation models to improve performance on mid-treatment images.

Accuracy of the DPS was assessed under prescribed (Study 1) and free-living (Study 2; video criterion) conditions, across multiple desk-types. Study 3 assessed usability and acceptability in the short-term (1-week) and longer-term (5-weeks).

Here, we develop a strategy to identify cell types from extracellular recordings in awake animals and reveal the computational roles of neurons with distinct functional, molecular, and anatomical properties. We combine optogenetics and pharmacology using the cerebellum as a testbed to generate a curated ground-truth library of electrophysiological properties for Purkinje cells, molecular layer interneurons, Golgi cells, and mossy fibers.

Design: Five randomised counterbalanced experimental trials in 40 °C and 41 % relative humidity (32 °C wet-bulb globe temperature).
Methods: Twelve females (age 25 ± 5 y, V̇O 51 ± 5 mL·kg·min) completed five 90-min football simulations with different cooling configurations: regular match without cooling breaks (REG), 3-min breaks without cooling (BRK), 3-min breaks with cooling (BRK: current FIFA policy; chilled fluid and ice towel across neck/shoulders), 5-min extended half-time without cooling breaks (ExtHT), and 5-min extended half-time with 3-min cooling breaks (ExtHT).

Background: To address the unmet need for a smaller pacemaker for babies, a specially modified implantable pulse generator was developed containing a Medtronic Micra subassembly in a polymer header connecting to a bipolar epicardial lead. The aim of this study was to report midterm follow-up data and outcomes of patients who underwent implantation of this device.
Methods: Deidentified data were collected from 12 of 15 sites in the United States implanting the pediatric implantable pulse generator between March 2022 and February 2024.
