Semiquantitative measurement of amniotic fluid volume (AFV) was used to predict the pregnancy outcome. In 229 high risk pregnancies, the AFV was assessed by 4 ultrasonographic methods, including our suggested one--the modified amniotic fluid index (MAFI).
