Large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the endometrium is an insufficiently researched aggressive tumor with a short survival regard-less of the treatment type.We present here the 38th consecutive case of literature reported cases of large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the endometrium (posi-tive for synaptophysin, CD56, chromogranin A, p53, and Vimentin) found in the myomatous uterus of a 76-year-old woman.We also describe in the study the morphological algorithm for differentiation of malignant blastomas with small (under 10 %) neuro-endocrinal component.

Aggressive juvenile fibromatosis of the jawbones is a rare tumor presenting as infiltrative mass with unpredictable evolution. We report herein a 17-year-old student with a 6-month history of radiologically proven resorption of a part of the mandible, lingual displacement of tooth 34 and malocclusion. Alveolar ridge resorption and three dark-brown foci in the bone were seen after the tooth was extracted.

Celiac disease and cystic fibrosis share a number of clinical manifestations. The comorbidity rate of these diseases is low: 1:200000. We present a case of a child aged 1 year and 5 months, born to a mixed-marriage parents, with concomitant cystic fibrosis and celiac disease manifesting initially with chronic diarrhea.

Aim: To study the effect of mycophenolate mofetil (Cell Cept) in treating patients with various types of chronic glomerulonephritis and other immune nephropathies.

Material And Methods: Between 2000 and 2003 we treated 35 patients (18 women, 17 men) with Cell Cept (La Roche). In 32 patients the diagnosis was confirmed by kidney biopsy (immunofluorescence, light and electron microscopy).
