Purpose: To evaluate the corneal epithelial mapping, ocular surface parameters and their relationship with each other in lower eyelid ectropion patients according to severity.
Methods: This retrospective study included 48 lower eyelid ectropion patients and 63 healthy individuals as control group. Ocular surface and tear functions were evaluated with ocular surface staining score, tear film break-up time (BUT), non-invasive tear break-up time (NIBUT) and ocular surface disease index (OSDI).

Introduction And Objectives: We aimed to investigate whether Sjögren's syndrome (SS) had distinctive findings in tongue confocal microscopy in a non-invasive manner.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective case-control study evaluated corneal and tongue confocal microscopy findings of the right eyes of 25 patients with aqueous deficient dry eye and 12 healthy volunteers without dry eye findings. There were a total of 14 patients diagnosed with SS-associated dry eye (SSDE), while 11 cases were evaluated as non-Sjögren dry eye (NSDE).
A luminol based chemiluminescent trimeric system, namely 2,3-dihydro-5,8-di(thiophen-2-yl)phthalazine-1,4-dione (TB-Lum), bearing thiophene rings as donor units and 2,3-dihydrophthalazine-1,4-dione as an acceptor unit was synthesized in two steps via donor-acceptor-donor approach using two different methods. It was found that TB-Lum emits chemiluminescent light when exposed to HO in a basic medium, and the presence of substituents and the type of aromatic ring bearing chemiluminescent active group have a direct effect on the compound's sensitivity. Among the members of a large family of metal ions, fluorescent and chemiluminescent TB-Lum exhibited high sensitivity to Cu and Fe ions.

In the literature, studies on blepharospasm focus on elucidating the pathophysiology of this condition in the brain. To the best of our knowledge, there is no research evaluating the orbital imaging findings of patients with EB.
