Methodology: This document review was conducted by analyzing literature available in the public domain, including scientific publications, project documents/reports, media reports, and hospital records.

Delirium is common in hospitalised patients, and there is currently no specific treatment. Identifying and treating underlying somatic causes of delirium is the first priority once delirium is diagnosed. Several international guidelines provide clinicians with an evidence-based approach to screening, diagnosis and symptomatic treatment.

Suppression and acceptance in unipolar depression: Short-term and long-term effects on emotional responding.

Objectives: Transdiagnostic treatments increasingly include emotion regulation training focused on use of emotional suppression and acceptance. Despite the frequent use of these treatments in depression, little is known about the effects of these strategies in this population.
