Objectives: To describe and enumerate surgeries for patients who underwent reconstruction or amputation after severe distal tibia, ankle, and mid to hindfoot injuries.
Methods: Design: Secondary analysis of a multicenter prospective observational study.
Setting: 31 U.
Background: Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) is a frequent complication of coronary interventions associated with an increased risk of mortality and morbidity. The optimal intravenous hydration strategy to prevent CI-AKI is not well-established. The primary objective is to determine if a tailored hydration strategy reduces the risk of CI-AKI and of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients undergoing coronary angiography compared with a non-tailored hydration strategy.

Design: Prospective, single-arm (uncontrolled), single-institution clinical feasibility study.
Animals: Fifty client-owned dogs with severe degenerative MR operated over a 28-month period.
Background: Modern techniques in lower extremity amputation have made significant advances to improve prosthetic control and soft-tissue envelopes through various techniques, including medial thighplasties. These advances are necessary to enhance the fit and functionality of the prosthesis in transfemoral amputations.
Methods: We performed a retrospective review of all thighplasties performed at our institution in patients with ipsilateral transfemoral amputation from November 2017 to December 2021.
Introduction: Preeclampsia is associated with acute neurological complications during pregnancy, but the subsequent risk of developing a neurological disorder is unclear. We determined if preeclampsia was associated with the long-term risk of neurological morbidity.
Methods: We conducted a longitudinal cohort study of 1,460,098 pregnant women with and without preeclampsia in Quebec, Canada, between 1989 and 2023.
