Ebola and Marburg viruses, biosafety level 4 pathogens, cause severe hemorrhaging and organ failure with high mortality. Although some FDA-approved vaccines or therapeutics like Ervebo for Zaire Ebola virus exist, still there is a lack of effective therapeutics that cover all filoviruses, including both Ebola and Marburg viruses. Therefore, some anti-filovirus drugs such as Pinocembrin, Favipiravir, Remdesivir and others are used to manage infections.

Such micro nutrients are crucial for modulating effective immune responses and their deficiencies have been associated with dysfunctional immunity in the elderly. In this review, we specifically focused on the contribution of major micro nutrients (Vitamins A, D and E, Vitamin C; Zinc and Selenium) as immunomodulators in ageing population especially related to inflame-ageing process including autoimmunity.

Notch1 and Notch2, transmembrane receptors belonging to the Notch family, are pivotal mediators of intercellular communication and have profound implications including cell fate determination, embryonic development, and tissue homeostasis in various cellular processes. Despite their structural homology, Notch1 and Notch2 exhibit discrete phenotypic characteristics and functional nuances that necessitate their individualized targeting in specific medical scenarios. Aberrant Notch signaling, often driven by the dysregulated activity of one receptor over the other, is implicated under various pathological conditions.
