[Hereditary (dysplastic) diseases of the joints].

Using the intentional procedures to reveal systemic semantic interrelations between different phenomena that form the causative-sequential chain in joint diseases of dysplasia genesis and assuming the pathology theory laws as a basis, applying the methodologies of different interdisciplinary sciences and the technology of cognitive simulation, the conceptual model "joint dysplasia--dysplasia arthrosis" was developed. This model depicts the characteristic features of joint dysplasia. The use of the model permitted one to base and describe a group of inherited (depressional) diseases of joints as an independent scientific orthopedo-arthrological problem.

[The rod apparatus for orthopedic treatment of pathology of the knee joint].

On the basis of study of remote results of application of wire apparatus, designed at KhNIIOT, for immobilization after correcting osteotomies in the area of knee joint due to varus-valgus deformation (114 cases, including 94 on crus, 14 on thigh, 6 on crus and thigh at the same time) there have been revealed essential advantages of this fixation method. It ensures possibility of additional postoperative correction, rated rigidity of fixation (depending on the stage of consolidation), strength of fixation, comfort for a patient and nursing. Consolidation has been achieved in all cases.

[Genetically determined diseases of the hip joint (a conceptual model)].

The authors consider the problem of pathology of the hip joint from the point of view of the conception "Dysplasia-coxarthrosis". A single system of the ideas concerning dysplastis pathology is presented, which will allow to unify the methods of diagnosis and treatment of dysplasia of the hip joint in children, adolescents and adults with the aim of prevention of crippling diseases of the joint.
