One common failure type for high voltage industrial products is dielectric breakdown. The dielectric strength through air between metallic traces of printed circuit boards (PCBs) depends on environmental parameters (temperature and humidity) and the presence of surface contamination (i.e.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the daily life of many patients with dermatological immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (DIMIDs), such as atopic dermatitis (AD), psoriasis, and vitiligo, was impacted by social restrictions caused by (fear of) morbidity, mortality associated with COVID-19, and vaccine hesitancy. This prospective observational, multicenter, multidisciplinary cohort study explored the impact of COVID-19 disease and vaccination on DIMIDs, specifically AD, psoriasis, and vitiligo. Data from patients with DIMIDs were collected as part of the Target2B! study (between February 2021 and October 2022).

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin condition with many unmet needs. It is characterized by significant clinical heterogeneity, which suggests that a diagnosis of HS captures multiple distinct disease entities and that research aimed at identifying medically relevant HS subtypes will improve its management. Precision medicine is an approach to disease management that uses information encoded in a patient's genome, and operationalized in clinical presentations and drug responses, to identify disease subtypes.

T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL) is a rare mature T-cell lymphoma that is usually associated with poor prognosis and short overall survival. We present a case of a 61-year-old woman presenting with T-PLL and the leukemic cells harboring (-breakpoint cluster region; -ABL protooncogene 1) fusion transcripts as the result of a variant of t(9;22)(q34;q11) called Philadelphia translocation: t(9;22;18)(q34;q11;q21). Sequencing revealed a rare transcript with an exon 6 breakpoint corresponding to e6a2 transcripts, which has thus far been reported in only 26 cases of leukemias.

Introduction: Health literacy plays an important role in the management of chronic and debilitating skin diseases like hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Adequate health literacy empowers patients to understand their disease, manage it effectively, and make informed decisions about their health. Exploring the interplay between health literacy and HS is essential to improve healthcare outcomes in this population.
