Introduction: The Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) Scale is a gold standard for staging impairment in Alzheimer's disease and other dementias (ADRD). The Quick Dementia Rating System (QDRS) offers similar results in 3 to 5 minutes without a trained clinician. This study aimed to (1) investigate concordance between comparably derived QDRS and CDR global scores, (2) examine item-level QDRS/CDR agreement, and (3) compare sample characteristics and cognitive performance across QDRS/CDR global concordant/discordant groups.

Although there is substantial information on the effects of lipoproteins (LP) on immune modulatory pathways, the application of multi-omics methodologies to decode the transcriptional and proteomic patterns associated with host cell responses induced by lipoproteins in murine bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) has identified additional effectors and pathways. Single-cell RNA-Seq (scRNA-Seq) performed on BMDMs treated with various concentrations of borrelial lipoproteins revealed macrophage subsets within the BMDMs.

More recently, the literature indicates the presence of unique behavioral patterns or phenotypes in youth with epilepsy that vary significantly in vulnerability and resilience to behavioral problems. This study contrasts the interpretation of behavioral risk as inferred from cross-sectional versus latent group analytic perspectives, as well as the presence, consistency, stability, and progression of behavioral phenotypes in youth with new onset epilepsy and sibling controls over 3 years.
