The long-term fixation of mineral pigments in ancient paintings has always been a challenge. Gelatin alum solution (GAW), as a traditional pigment fixative, presents good pigment fixation in the early stage of use, but its poor durability is well known. In this work, a microgel (SH) prepared from sodium alginate and hydroxyethyl cellulose was proposed to replace GAW for the pigment fixation due to its micro scale, strong adhesion, and good chemical stability.

As a recently emerging approach, the efficacy of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) compared with TACE in this group of patients is unclear. Between December 2016 and June 2020, patients diagnosed with HCC with MVI and without EHM who underwent TACE (n=91) or HAIC (n=190) as their initial treatment were included.

This strategy achieves the effective synthesis of chiral 2,2-disubstituted indolin-3-ones bearing a quaternary stereocenter and containing a diazo group in the C2 substituent (up to >99% ee and 82% yield). To demonstrate the importance of the synthesized 2,2-disubstituted indolin-3-ones and the diversity of their diazo group reactions, we successfully achieved the relevant transformation reactions with a diazo group (such as hydroxylation, hydrogenation, intramolecular cyclization, etc.

As a nutritional additive, royal jelly imparts a broad range of benefits to mammals and humans; however, its precise impact on the social hierarchy of these advanced animals is not yet fully understood. This study aims to determine whether the benefits of royal jelly can be transferred to rats to alter their social ranks and uncover the underlying mechanisms.

The common mycotoxin adsorbents have low adsorption rates for DON, and the use of biological methods to remove DON in feeds has gradually become a research trend. One hundred and twenty crossbred barrows were randomly divided into four groups, which included the normal diet group (CON), normal diet + detoxifier group (Det), DON-polluted diet group (DON), and DON-polluted diet + DON detoxifier group (DON + Det); the experiment lasted for 28 d.
