Use of Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to Correct Scleral Show: A Review of Technique.

Generally, the shape of women's eyes are distinctly different in intercatal height from that in men. Ideally, in a woman, the lateral intercostal point is positioned above the medial intercostal point, which gives the eyes a cat-like appearance that culturally suggests youth and health. Because of aging and/or physiological changes, this area can be altered with the inversion of the lateral intercantal line lower than the medial intercantal line, producing a tired and/or sad looking appearance.

Diagnosing and managing peripartum headache.

A 38-year-old gravida 7 para 5 Hispanic woman at 36 weeks and 4 days gestation presented with a postpartum headache following vaginal delivery complicated by an unintentional dural puncture for epidural analgesia. Due to the positional nature of the headache and its frontal and occipital origin, a postdural puncture headache was diagnosed. After failure of conservative treatment, an epidural blood patch was used, which offered immediate relief.

Bilateral ultrasound-guided supraclavicular block in a patient with severe electrocution injuries of the upper extremities.

The performance of bilateral supraclavicular brachial plexus nerve blocks is controversial. We present the challenging case of a 29-year-old male who suffered bilateral high-voltage electrocution injuries to the upper extremities, resulting in severe tissue damage, sensory and motor deficits, and wounds in both axillae. This injury necessitated bilateral below-elbow amputations.

When a sheep loses its tail, it cannot regenerate it in the manner of lizards. On the other hand, it is possible to clone mammals from somatic cells, showing that a complete developmental program is intact in a wounded sheep's tail the same way it is in a lizard. Thus, there is a requirement for more than only the presence of the entire genetic code in somatic cells for regenerative abilities.
