This case report describes the clinical findings, treatment and outcome of a four-year-old goat with type I diabetes mellitus. Weight loss, polydipsia and polyuria were the main clinical signs. Urinalysis revealed glucosuria, ketonuria and aciduria.

The goal of this study was to describe the findings in four cows with non-magnetic reticular foreign bodies composed of copper. The cows were referred to our clinic because of reduced appetite and a marked decrease in milk production. Based on the clinical findings, a tentative diagnosis of traumatic reticuloperitonitis was made in all cows.

This study was carried out to determine whether the administration of atropine, scopolamine or xylazine to cows before the administration of a magnet orally would help to position it in the reticulum.
