Towards solving the mystery of spiral phyllotaxis.

The mystery of the morphogenesis of phyllotaxis has been of concern for several generations of botanists and mathematicians. Of particular interest is the fact that the number of visible spirals is equal to the number from the Fibonacci series. The article proposes an analytical solution to two fundamental questions of phyllotaxis: what is the morphogenesis of patterns of spiral phyllotaxis? and why the number of visible spirals is equal to number from the Fibonacci series? The article contains videos illustrating the recursive dynamic model of spiral phyllotaxis morphogenesis.

[Changes in the sensitivity of the baroreceptor reflex during the development of renal parenchymatous hypertension in waking cats].

Hemodynamic parameters were investigated in experiments with chronically instrumented hypertensive cats. It was shown, that mean arterial pressure level raised by 35%, heart rate decreased by 20% and peripheral resistance raised by 56% in awake hypertensive cats. The study demonstrates that the mean blood pressure raised on the 30th day after hypertension induction, however, baroreflex sensitivity lowered only on the 40th day.

[Intestinal desinvagination in children].

168 cases of conservative and 52 cases of surgical desinvagination are reported. The push-like insuflation of oxygen (under the pressure of 130 mm Hg) in large intestine after gaining the pressure of 20-30 mm Hg was preformed in case of conservative desinvagination. The electrometric control and management of the procedure has been performed.
