Aim: This study had two aims: to analyze surgical patients with mediastinal cysts and masses according to clinical, histopathological, and surgical types; and compare the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic on these cases.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 132 patients who had undergone surgical intervention for mediastinal cysts and masses. Demographic, clinical, and histopathologic data were recorded.

Monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL) is a key enzyme involved in the metabolism of the endogenous signaling ligand 2-arachidonoylglycerol, a neuroprotective endocannabinoid intimately linked to central nervous system (CNS) disorders associated with neuroinflammation. In the quest for novel MAGL inhibitors, a focused screening approach on a Roche library subset provided a reversible benzoxazinone hit exhibiting high ligand efficiency. The subsequent design of the three-dimensional -hexahydro-pyrido-oxazinone (-HHPO) moiety as benzoxazinone replacement enabled the combination of high MAGL potency with favorable ADME properties.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between the presence of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) and malignancy rates with prognostic factors in thyroid nodules diagnosed as Bethesda category III, and to examine the effect of HT on diagnostic value of fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB). Demographic information, preoperative examination, and final pathological evaluation of patients with Bethesda category III (AUS-FLUS) nodules who had been operated on in our department over the last 6 years were analyzed. Statistical analyses were performed using the Student's t-test, Mann-Whitney U test and χ-test and logistic regression analysis using SPSS version 22 software.

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate postmarketing ocrelizumab safety and effectiveness in a real-world population with multiple sclerosis (MS) and matching these parameters among MS disease types.

Methods: This was a retrospective, single-center study with MS patients treated with ocrelizumab. Demographic, clinical characteristics and immunological data were analyzed, including annualized relapse rate (ARR), relapse-free rate, Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS), complete blood count parameters, immunoglobulin (Ig) levels, liver function tests (LFT), hepatitis markers and adverse events in the 4-year follow-up.
