Awareness for the risk of adverse outcomes of female patients after ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome.

Introduction: Women increased risk of early mortality following ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) has been attributed to older age, more comorbidities, and less primary revascularization (PCI). Data on long-term outcomes is conflicting, and younger patients' specific evidence is limited.

Purpose: Compare gender outcomes following STEMI within a cohort of younger (≤55 years) and older (>55 years) individuals.

Voices of the Past: A Case Report on the Interaction Between Childhood Trauma, Social Phobia, and Psychotic Symptoms in a Transgender Male.

This case report explores the interplay between childhood trauma, social phobia, psychotic symptoms, and minority stress in a 27-year-old transgender male. L presented with psychotic symptoms, including auditory verbal hallucinations and self-referential phenomena, which were accompanied by a history of childhood sexual and emotional abuse, as well as social phobia. These challenges were further compounded by experiences of stigma, rejection, and stress related to his gender identity.

3D printing pen for patterning electrochemical sensors on a paper platform for capsaicin detection.

The development of a print-at-home, low-cost, and miniaturized paper-based cell with 3D-printed electrodes using a 3D-printing pen and a bespoke conductive filament for detecting capsaicin in hot sauce is reported herein. The material cost of producing each electrode was less than £0.01.

Exploring the Potential Use of Probiotics, Prebiotics, Synbiotics, and Postbiotics as Adjuvants for Modulating the Vaginal Microbiome: a Bibliometric Review.

Women's health is related to several factors that include physical, mental, and reproductive health. Additionally, the vaginal microbiota modulation performs a fundamental role in the regulation of physiological homeostasis and dysbiosis, which provides us a potential overview of the use of different biotic agents and their implications for female health. The objective of this work was propitiated insights and conception about the influence of probiotics, prebiotics, synbiotics, and postbiotics as adjuvants for prevention/treatment on the main infections that can affect women's health.

Towards targeted cancer therapy: Synthesis, characterization, and biological activity of a new Cu(II)-ibuprofen-2,2'-dipyridylamine metal complex.

This work reports the synthesis of a copper metal complex with the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) ibuprofen, and 2,2'-dipyridylamine employing microwave-assisted synthesis (MWAS). To the best of authors knowledge, this is the first study reporting a NSAID-based complex achieved through MWAS. The coordination compound was characterised by elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry, and ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry.
