Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) is a gastrointestinal regulatory hormone that stimulates insulin release from the pancreas. While GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) have traditionally been utilized to address insulin resistance, their potential application in treating polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has recently garnered attention.
