The marsupial moles are arguably Australia's most enigmatic marsupials. Almost indistinguishable from placental (eutherian) moles, they provide a striking example of convergent evolution. Exploring the genome of the southern marsupial mole, we provide insights into its unusual biology.

Incarcerated people living with HIV (PLWH) could potentially benefit from expanded access to HIV care through telemedicine.
Methods: All PLWH who were incarcerated within the Tennessee Department of Corrections and received care through the HIV telemedicine clinic at Regional One Hospital between 5/1/2019 through 2/28/2022 were identified from the electronic health records (EHR).

Children with sleep disordered breathing (SDB) are at an increased risk of neurocognitive impairments. This systematic review with meta-analysis aims to 1) establish whether SDB differentially impacts various neurocognitive domains (intelligence, attention/executive functions, memory, visual spatial skills, and language) and 2) examine the effects of several moderating factors. Database searches, conducted according to the PRISMA guidelines, identified 77 studies that met pre-determined criteria, 63 of which were included in the meta-analysis.
