Three medications are FDA approved in the US for treatment of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), and a few others are used off-label. Patient compliance and efficacy in the broader population are major hurdles for current AUD medications. - 37 eyes from 23 participants were tested, revealing that all could complete the VVP; however, reliability issues were present in both VVP and traditional Humphrey visual field tests (HVF).
- Participants overwhelmingly preferred the VVP over HVF, with 70% reporting high satisfaction levels, indicating that VVP is a promising alternative for visual field testing in pediatric patients.
