[Evaluation of the results of 12-mm recession of the inferior oblique muscle in superior oblique palsy: retrospective study in six patients].

Introduction: Surgical possibilities in superior oblique palsy are numerous. The aim of this study was to evaluate the results of a 12-mm inferior oblique recession in each cardinal position of gaze.

Patients And Methods: Six patients suffering from superior oblique palsy were studied.

[Rare complication in microspherophakia surgery: early capsular contraction].

Introduction: Microspherophakia is characterized by a decreasing equatorial diameter of the crystalline lens and a relative spherical shape objectivized by an increase in the diameter of the anteroposterior axis. This rare abnormality, leading to severe glaucoma and lenticular myopia, can be sporadic or inherited.

Observation: We report the case of an 18-year-old woman with a history of bilateral angle-closure glaucoma consulting for recurring painful episodes with no relief from medical treatment.

[Choroidal white dots and sarcoidosis].

Introduction: Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic disease characterized by a noncaseating granuloma. Posterior segment disease with white choroidal dots occurs in only 5% of sarcoidosis cases with ocular involvement.

Observation: We report here the case of a 45-year-old Caucasian patient complaining of a skin rash.
