The title compound, [CdBr(CHNO)], was synthesized upon complexation of 4-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine and cadmium(II) bromide tetra-hydrate at 303 K. It crystallizes as a centrosymmetric dimer, with one cadmium atom, two bromine atoms and one ,-bidentate 4-(2-aminoethyl)morpholine ligand in the asymmetric unit. The metal atom is six-coordinated and has a distorted octa-hedral geometry.

The title coordination compound, [Cd(CHO)(CHNO)]·4HO, was synthesized by mixing 2 moles of 4-(2-amino-eth-yl)morpholine and 1 mole of cadmium acetate in double-distilled water. The Cd atom is octa-hedrally coord-inated by two ,'-bidentate ligands [4-(2-amino-eth-yl)morpholine] and two -located acetate mol-ecules. The Cd atom is located on a center of inversion, whereas the 4-(2-amino-eth-yl)morpholine and four water mol-ecules are adjacent to the acetate mol-ecules.

The title coordination compound, [Ni(CHNO)(HO)]Cl, was synthesized by mixing 4-(2-amino-eth-yl)morpholine and nickel chloride in double-distilled water. The asymmetric unit comprises one half of an Ni cation (located on an inversion centre), one 4-(2-amino-eth-yl)morpholine ligand, one coordinated water mol-ecule and one chloride ion outside the metal coordination sphere. The nickel ion is in a octa-hedral environment of the NO type, coordinating four N atoms from two 4-(2-amino-eth-yl)morpholine ligands and two -located O atoms from two water mol-ecules.

The title compound, CHNO·CHNO ·HO, was synthesized slow evaporation of an aqueous solution of picric acid with the substituted morpholine base and crystallized with one cation (CHNO), one anion (CHNO) and a water mol-ecule in the asymmetric unit. The morpholine ring in the cation adopts a chair conformation. The structure is stabilized by C-H⋯O, O-H⋯O, O-H⋯N and N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions and π-π stacking.
