Objectives: Deauville scores (DS) from PET/CT imaging are increasingly being used to direct response-adjusted treatment strategies in lymphoma, including large B cell lymphomas (LBCL). We aimed to investigate the outcome of allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT) in LBCL and the role played by pre-transplant disease status, as determined by DS.
Methods: We performed a retrospective, observational study of adults treated with a T-cell depleted alloHSCT for de novo DLBCL or high-grade transformation.
Introduction: Gypsies, Roma and Travellers (GRT) frequently experience poorer health outcomes than the general population and represent the most socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in many countries. In general, GRT in OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries have lower rates of literacy than the general population. Although 'health literacy' has been examined before, the link between low functional literacy and its effects on health has not yet been explored.

Condensation with two equiv of an acetoxymethylpyrrole in refluxing acetic acid-2-propanol afforded a series of annulated tripyrranes. Cleavage of the terminal -butyl ester groups with trifluoroacetic acid, followed by condensation with a diformylpyrrole and oxidation with FeCl, gave -methyl acenaphtho-, phenanthro-, and pyrenoporphyrins.
