Objective: To evaluate the effect of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy on the outcomes of patients with chronic refractory osteomyelitis (CRO) when combined with modern antibiotics with modern delivery methods and/or surgical treatments.
Methods: The authors conducted a retrospective review on 58 patients with CRO from a single institution who underwent HBO therapy along with standard treatment between January 2009 and December 2019. To investigate associations with binary outcomes of interest, they estimated logistic regression models.
Introduction: Drug-related hospital admissions (DRAs) can account for 5%-40% of total hospital admissions in older adults, with a significant proportion deemed preventable. To increase the detection of DRAs, in 2021, a revised trigger tool listing 21 frequent causes of admissions and medications at risk was proposed. This study aimed to describe DRAs using this trigger tool in a French acute geriatric ward and to assess the performance of the tool.

Their structural features and particularities are thoroughly assessed as well as their air and water tolerance. Neutral ITr and IAd adducts [(ITr)Zn(R)] (1, R = Me; 2, R = Et) and [(IAd)Zn(R)] (3, R = Me; 4, R = Et) were synthesized by reaction of carbene [ITr] or [IAd] with a stoichiometric amount of [ZnR] and isolated in good yields.

Here, we present a global, spatially-explicit database on springtail communities that includes 249,912 occurrences from 44,999 samples and 2,990 sites. These data are mainly raw sample-level records at the species level collected predominantly from private archives of the authors that were quality-controlled and taxonomically-standardised.
