Treatment patterns of individualized real-life tapering approaches based on shared decision-making in rheumatoid arthritis.

Objective: To provide real-world evidence on patient-individual tapering patterns of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients in daily clinical practice.

Methods: Data obtained through a controlled prospective cohort study in Germany conducted from July 2018 to March 2021 were analyzed. Participants consist of RA patients in sustained remission who were eligible for DMARD tapering at enrolment.

The Effect of Biosimilar Prescription Targets for Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agents on the Prescribing Behavior of Physicians in Germany.

Objectives: This study aimed to aid decision makers by analyzing the impact of introducing biosimilar prescription targets on physician prescribing behavior in the prescription of biologic erythropoiesis-stimulating agents in Germany.

Methods: We combined secondary data of regional level biosimilar prescription targets and secondary data of routinely collected claims data of dispensed prescriptions by physicians operating within the statutory health insurance system in ambulatory care across 7 German regions from 2009 to 2015. Two-way fixed-effects regression analysis was used to identify the average treatment effect of introducing biosimilar prescription targets at the physician level.

Anchor Site Fracture Following Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair - A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Introduction: Fractures at the anchor site following arthroscopic rotator cuff repair are rare and only a few case reports have been described. We report two additional well-documented cases of this uncommon post-operative complication and provide a review of the current literature.

Case Report: A 48-year-old male underwent arthroscopic rotator cuff repair (ARCR) due to a massive rotator cuff tear.

Work satisfaction and risk of burnout for endoscopy staff in Germany: Results of a nationwide survey.

Background:  Healthcare workers are facing ever-increasing challenges. Moreover, in many areas, there is a shortage of skilled personnel, so endoscopy staff are also increasingly exposed to the risk of developing burnout symptoms. Little is known about job satisfaction and burnout prevalence among endoscopy staff.
