Introduction: This systematic review aimed to compare the effect of alternative levothyroxine administration regimens on thyroid hormone levels and patient-reported outcomes (PROs) among adults with hypothyroidism.
Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase, CENTRAL, CINAHL, LILACS, SciELO, Scopus, Web of Science, OpenGrey, ProQuest, ClinicalTrials.gov, and ICTRP from inception to May/2023 for randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
In self-revolving gram-negative infection, Resolvin D5 (RvD5) was found to enhance bacteria phagocytosis and reduce the production of inflammatory mediators, contributing to the resolution of infection. LPS (lipopolysaccharide) is a gram-negative bacterial structure product which activates the immune system and, at high doses, leads to endotoxemia. To our knowledge, the effect of RvD5 against LPS endotoxemia has not been investigated to date.

Objective: To identify the prevalence of alcohol and tobacco drug use among pregnant women and investigate their perceptions regarding advice from health professionals during prenatal care.
Method: We used a sequential explanatory mixed-methods design for this cross-sectional study; the study period was January 2017 to December 2018. Multistage random sampling resulted in the selection of 255 pregnant women assisted in primary care units and through the Family Health Strategy in a city in southern Brazil.
