To date, few systematic approach has been established for predicting catalytic performance by analyzing the spectral information of molecules adsorbed on photocatalyst surfaces. Effective charge transfer (CT) between the semiconductor photocatalysts and surface-absorbed molecules is essential for enhancing catalytic activity and optimizing light energy utilization. This study aimed to validate the surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) based on the CT enhancement mechanism in investigating the CT process during semiconductor photocatalytic C-C coupling model reactions.

Objective: The objective of this study is to assess the feasibility of endovascular coiling combined with tissue glue embolism for the treatment of iliac arteriovenous fistula (AVF) secondary to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of the lower extremities. In addition, we aim to summarize the treatment methods and enhance understanding of the disease.

Methods: This research analyzes the clinical data and medical imaging materials of 20 cases with iliac AVF secondary to lower extremity DVT, ranging from December 2014 to December 2020, at our hospital.

Scientific-grade spectrometers with high hyperspectral resolution and high spectral accuracy are desirable in miniaturized optical systems to maintain stable and real-time spectral sampling. Fourier transform spectrometers that utilize high-precision moving mirrors generally struggle to enhance their miniaturization and stable real-time performance. A static infrared spectral measurement method is proposed that uses micro/nano-optical devices as the core of static interference and lightweight imaging.

Gastric cancer (GC) is a prevalent malignant tumor of the digestive system that is often diagnosed at advanced stages owing to inconspicuous early symptoms and a lack of specific examination methods. Effective treatment of advanced stages remains challenging, emphasizing the need for new therapeutic targets. Metabolic reprogramming, a hallmark of tumors, plays a pivotal role in tumor progression, immune evasion, and immune surveillance.

Blastoids-blastocyst-like structures created in vitro-emerge as a valuable model for early embryonic development research. Non-human primates stem cell-derived blastoids are an ethically viable alternative to human counterparts, yet the low formation efficiency of monkey blastoid cavities, typically below 30%, has limited their utility. Prior research has predominantly utilized embryonic stem cells.
