New Insights on Childhood Lupus Nephritis.

Approximately one in five patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has disease-onset during childhood (cSLE). Lupus nephritis is more common in cSLE than adult-onset SLE and is associated with significant and increased morbidity and mortality. In this article, we review lupus nephritis in cSLE, including pathogenesis, diagnosis, biomarkers, and management through PUBMED search between July and December 2024.

Although hormone signaling pathways are established in plants, how fungi perceive and respond to molecules is unclear because many plant-associated fungi are recalcitrant to experimentation.

Background: Government-led, population-wide initiatives are crucial for advancing the management of hypertension - a leading cause of cardiovascular disease (CVD) morbidity and mortality. An urban population health initiative was conducted against this backdrop, focussing on hypertension in the primary health system in São Paulo, Brazil. Within the frame of the initiative and under the supervision and leadership of the municipal health authorities, a situational analysis was conducted on the needs in hypertension management, marking the first phase of a Design Thinking process.

The SimRNAweb server version 2.0 offers an enhanced, user-friendly platform for RNA 3D structure prediction and analysis of RNA folding trajectories based on the SimRNA method.
