Objective: To evaluate the oral health status of children and adolescents in the Gdansk region of Poland based on epidemiological examinations performed in 1995 and 2003.

Basic Research Design: Sampling and examinations were performed according to WHO standards in children and adolescents aged 6, 7, 12 and 18. A sample of 180 children in each year and in each age group was selected.

Purpose: To evaluate histological findings in human immature permanent premolars scheduled for extraction for orthodontic reasons, in which mechanical pulp exposures were capped with white ProRoot Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (WMTA) or calcium hydroxide (CH).

Methods: Forty-eight human immature premolars in 23 patients (age 10-18 years) were randomly treated with WMTA or CH. After rubber dam isolation Cl I cavities were prepared and the pulps exposed.

Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate the dental caries experience of children suffering from bronchial asthma.

Methods: During the year 1998 a clinical dental examination was conducted in the northern part of Poland on children aged 3-15 years who had chronic bronchial asthma. The control group comprised 326 generally healthy children matched for age, sex and socioeconomic status.
