Agreement between two uroflowmetry tests in children with lower urinary tract symptoms.

Background: Uroflowmetry is a non-invasive examination considered as a first-line assessment for children with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Currently, the performance of two uroflowmetry tests is recommended by ICCS for all patients with LUTS. This study aims to evaluate the differences between two uroflowmetry tests in children with lower urinary tract symptoms and their impact on the patient's diagnostic workup and clinical outcome.

Total corpora mobilization for penile reconstruction.

Purpose: Total corpora mobilization (TCM) is a novel technique that is used for penile reconstruction in cases of micropenis and penile amputation. Its principle is based on Kelly's procedure for bladder exstrophy (1). In contrast to the Kelly procedure, TCM is performed entirely through the perineum with the patient in the lithotomy position.

Corporoplasty: A simplified technique for clitoroplasty.

Introduction: Clitoroplasty constitutes an important step in feminizing surgery for congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) (1). In this video we present a technique that aims to preserve clitoral sensitivity and engorgement while minimizing the risk of neurovascular lesion.

Materials And Methods: We present a video of a three-year-old girl with history of CAH classical form, PRADER-III, who underwent clitoroplasty.

Renal cell carcinoma with tumor thrombus in the lower cava vein reaching the right atrium - Case report and brief review of the literature.

Approximately 15% of cases of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) can invade the inferior vena cava, leading to the formation of a thrombus inside it, which can reach the cardiac chambers in up to 1% of cases. This article reports a case of RCC with venous thrombus that reached the right atrium. The patient underwent radical nephrectomy with lymphadenectomy and tumor thrombectomy with extracorporeal circulation associated with hypothermia, without total cardiac arrest.

Epididymis tuberculosis: Case report and brief review of the literature.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a secular disease caused by a bacillus, highly prevalent in Brazil. The genito-urinary tract involvement is rare, with the epididymis the most affected location. Treatment usually involves the combination of 3-4 drugs for TB for 6 months and surgery can be useful in complications.
