Despite the prevalence and harmful consequences of interpersonal violence and the growth in intervention research, applying research evidence and strategies into practice remains limited. This systematic review addresses this gap by using the Consolidated Framework of Implementation Research (CFIR) to characterize barriers and facilitators in efforts to prevent and address interpersonal violence. A systematic search of peer-reviewed literature was conducted using the following databases: PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, Cochrane, Web of Science, Scopus, and APA PsycInfo.

Article Synopsis
  • Community-based rehabilitation (CBR) centres in Malaysia aim to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities (PWDs), but the degree of oral health education provided at these centres is unclear.
  • This study explored CBR managers' perceptions regarding the training for CBR workers in oral health care, existing programs for PWDs, and the challenges and facilitators in delivering oral health services.
  • Findings indicated that while CBR workers and PWDs receive some oral health training and care, there are no specialized programs from the Department of Social Welfare, and multiple factors influence the effectiveness of oral health care outcomes for PWDs.

This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and durability of bioactive glass-based dental resin infiltrants. Resin infiltrants were formulated by combining photoinitiated dimethacrylate monomers with three variations of bioactive glass: 45S5 Bioglass (RIS), boron-substituted (RIB), fluoride-substituted (RIF), and pure resins (PR), whereby TOOTH group (TH) and ICON (CN) served as commercial control groups. Teeth samples were prepared, and experimental and control infiltrants were applied on demineralized human-extracted teeth.
