Development and validation of D-PATH website to improve hypertension management among hypertensive patients in Malaysia.

Objective: This study aimed at developing and validating a web application on hypertension management called the D-PATH website.

Methods: The website development involved three stages: content analysis, web development, and validation. The model of Internet Intervention was used to guide the development of the website, in addition to other learning and multimedia theories.

Ectopic Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma of the Posterior Pharynx.

Introduction: Ectopic thyroid is an uncommon condition resulting from the aberrant development of the normal thyroid gland and is usually found along the thyroglossal tract: lingual, submandibular, thyroglossal cysts, intra-tracheal and mediastinal, or, on rare occasions, in the adrenal gland, gallbladder, gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, and struma ovarii.

Case Reports: We describe a novel case where primary papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) was found after a trans-oral excision of a tumor containing ectopic thyroid tissue at the posterior pharynx, an area not known to be a location for ectopic thyroid. Delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in regional cervical metastases and multifocal PTC.

A 4-week program was implemented, and a pre- and post-intervention assessment was conducted to measure acceptability and changes in knowledge, attitude and practice, dietary intake, physical activity, and anthropometric status.

These datasets present a list of small RNAs from three drug-susceptible strains isolated from Sabah, Malaysia. Sputum samples were obtained from three tuberculosis patients belonging to different districts. The bacteria were detected using GeneXpert MTB/RIF, isolated and cultured in BACTEC MGIT 320, and tested for their drug susceptibility.

Food fraudulence and food contamination are major concerns, particularly among consumers with specific dietary, cultural, lifestyle, and religious requirements. Current food authentication methods have several drawbacks and limitations, necessitating the development of a simpler, more sensitive, and rapid detection approach for food screening analysis, such as an aptamer-based biosensor system. Although the use of aptamer is growing in various fields, aptamer applications for food authentication are still lacking.

Case Presentation: This case report highlighted a 57-year-old man who presented with lower abdominal pain which was associated with pneumaturia and fecaluria.
