We present two methods for computing the dynamic structure factor for warm dense hydrogen without invoking either the Born-Oppenheimer approximation or the Chihara decomposition, by employing a wave-packet description that resolves the electron dynamics during ion evolution. First, a semiclassical method is discussed, which is corrected based on known quantum constraints, and second, a direct computation of the density response function within the molecular dynamics. The wave-packet models are compared to PIMC and DFT-MD for the static and low-frequency behavior.

This novel perfusion imaging-based metric has been associated with higher odds of mortality and lower odds of functional recovery. This study aims to assess the relationship between PVT on admission perfusion imaging and length of hospital stay in large vessel occlusion strokes successfully reperfused with mechanical thrombectomy.

Herein, we report customizable chitosan microfibers (CMFs)-based hydrospongels with mechanical properties comparable to soft tissues. The CMFs formed under high-speed shearing during crystallization of chitosan, and then they are crosslinked through covalent bond and hydrogen bond to form hydrospongels.

Feedback literacy improves learners' motivation, engagement, and satisfaction, which in turn enhance their competencies. However, there is a lack of an objective method of measuring medical student feedback literacy in the empirical literature.

This study investigates the positive effect of Punica granatum seeds extract on kidney and testicular toxicities induced by iron oxide nanoparticles. Forty mice were randomly divided into four groups; the 1st group was the control group.

Defined as the ratio of tissue volume with a time-to-maximum (Tmax) of >10 seconds to that of >6 seconds, HIR assists in differentiating between the salvageable penumbra and the irreversibly injured core infarct. This review explores the role of HIR in assessing clinical outcomes and guiding treatment strategies, including mechanical thrombectomy and thrombolytic therapy, for patients with large vessel occlusions (LVOs).

Besides interpatient tumor heterogeneity, tumors within a single patient can present with a heterogeneous mix of genetically and phenotypically distinct subclones. These unique subclones can significantly impact the traits of cancer.

NSAIDs exert their biological effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme, which has two main isoforms COX-1 and COX-2. The COX-2 isoform is believed to be directly related to inflammation.

Multiple AIbased software products are commercially available. However, their strengths and limitations for detection of vessel occlusion in the context of expanding indications for mechanical thrombectomy are not entirely understood.

However, little is known about the perspectives of medical students and their career intentions. This study aims to determine the current Malaysian medical students' career intentions immediately after graduation and upon completing the 2 years of housemanship and to establish the factors influencing these intentions.

In this study, we aimed to identify different microvascular perfusion patterns and their association with clinical outcomes among TICI3 patients.

Background: As stroke endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) treatment indications expand, understanding population-based EVT eligibility becomes critical for resource planning. We aimed to project current and future population-based EVT eligibility in the United States.
Methods: We conducted a post hoc analysis of the physician-adjudicated GCNKSS (Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Stroke Study; 2015 epoch), a population-based, cross sectional, observational study of stroke incidence, treatment, and outcomes across a 5-county region.
Selective COX-1 inhibitors are preferential therapeutic targets for platelet aggregation and clotting responses. In this study, we examined the selective COX-1-inhibitory activities of four newly synthesized compounds, -, along with their abilities to inhibit platelet aggregation against ADP and collagen. The target compounds - were synthesized using the conventional method, sonication, and microwave-assisted methods.
