Background: Glass ionomer (GI) restorations exposed to fluoride have the ability to slowly release fluoride. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate fluoride release from three GIs before and after exposure to sodium fluoride (NaF) and acidulated phosphate fluoride (APF).
