African swine fever (ASF), a severe and highly contagious haemorrhagic viral disease of pigs, is becoming a major threat not only in Malaysia but around the world. The first confirmed case of ASF in Malaysia was reported in February 2021. Despite the emergence of ASF in Malaysia, genetic information on this causative pathogen for the local livestock is still limited.

Effective management requires meaningful community involvement to reduce health inequalities and ensure people-centered health care. Engaging local voices, including leaders, health care professionals, and vulnerable populations, enhances decision-making, transparent communication, and resource mobilization.

A promising water treatment method involves using biomass-derived activated carbon (AC) to remove emerging pollutants from wastewater due to its adsorption capacity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Notwithstanding, the existing literature lacks comprehensive studies that specifically focus on removing contaminants in water by comparing the effectiveness of adsorption and photocatalytic degradation methods. Additionally, there is not much emphasis on analyzing the combined processes of adsorption-photocatalytic degradation utilizing AC.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in the framework of the Tehran Lipid and Glucose Study (TLGS). Participants were 6113 participants (3318 women and 2795 men) aged≥20 years of the TLGS seventh phase who had completed data on HRQoL and MetS.
Dealing with spinal cord injuries presents problematic due to multiple secondary mechanisms. Beyond primary concerns like paralysis and disability, complications including urinary, gastrointestinal, cardiac, and respiratory disorders, along with substantial economic burdens may occur. Limited research focuses on modeling and treating contusion and compression injuries.

The prognosis is generally poor, and treatment is mainly based on surgery, associated with systemic therapy and radiotherapy adapted to the profile and stage of the tumor. We report a case of a 50-year-old woman presented with a right breast lump.

Background: Extensive research has explored the role of gut microbiota in multiple sclerosis (MS). However, the impact of microbial communities in the oral cavity and respiratory tract on MS is an emerging area of investigation.
Purpose: We aimed to review the current literature related to the nasal, oral, and lung microbiota in people with MS (PwMS).
Background And Aims: The primary objective of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to assess the impact of dextrose prolotherapy on individuals diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis (KOA).
Methods: To conduct a thorough investigation, a variety of leading international databases were checked, including PubMed (Medline), Scopus, Web of Sciences, EMBASE (Elsevier), ClinicalTrials.gov, and the Cochrane Library.
Background: Distinguishing high-grade gliomas (HGGs) from brain metastases (BMs) using perfusion-weighted imaging (PWI) remains challenging. PWI offers quantitative measurements of cerebral blood flow (CBF) and cerebral blood volume (CBV), but optimal PWI parameters for differentiation are unclear.
Purpose: To compare CBF and CBV derived from PWIs in HGGs and BMs, and to identify the most effective PWI parameters and techniques for differentiation.
Background: The causes of infertility have remained an important challenge. The relationship between VDR gene polymorphisms and infertility has been reported, with controversial findings.
Objective And Rationale: We aimed to determine this relationship by conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Physiochemical tissue inducers and mechanical stimulation are both efficient variables in cartilage tissue fabrication and regeneration. In the presence of biomolecules, decellularized extracellular matrix (ECM) may trigger and enhance stem cell proliferation and differentiation. Here, we investigated the controlled release of transforming growth factor beta (TGF-β1) as an active mediator of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) in a biocompatible scaffold and mechanical stimulation for cartilage tissue engineering.

This study systematically reviewed and meta-analyzed cohort studies to determine the association between diabetes mellitus (DM) and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
Methods: A comprehensive search of international databases, including Medline (PubMed), Web of Science, Scopus, and Embase, was conducted up to June 2023 to identify relevant studies investigating the association between MSDs and DM.
Introduction: Advances in the use of technology in home health nursing (HHN) not only can facilitate the delivery of home care but can also influence the entire healthcare system. Additionally, it can contribute to the individual autonomy in the area of health. The aim of this scoping review protocol is to identify, describe and map the types of innovative services and their delivery approaches in the HHN structure worldwide.

Electrospun nanofibers are prepared based on optimized polycaprolactone (PCL, 12 wt%) and polyacrylic acid (PAA, 1 wt%) polymers loaded with graphene oxide nanoparticles (GO NPs, 1 wt%). The morphological, molecular interactions, crystallinity, thermal, hydrophobicity, and biocompatibility properties of NFs are characterized by spectroscopy (scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Thermogravimetric analysis), contact angle, and MTT tests.

In this study, the trend of Salmonella serovars infection was presented for the past ten years from 2011 to 2020 and the predominant serovars were mapped based on geographical distribution. Analysis of passive surveillance data demonstrated a shift of Salmonella serovars that infected poultry in Malaysia.

This report presents two cases of urinoma likely caused by overdistention of the renal pelvis following excessive fluid intake and the presence of a ureteral stone.
Case Presentation: We present two cases of 36-year-old and 38-year-old patients who presented with flank pain.
Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL), also known as Hodgkin lymphoma or Hodgkin disease, is a type of malignancy that originates in B lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cells involved in the immune system. It is characterized by the presence of abnormal Reed-Sternberg cells within the lymph nodes or other lymphoid tissues. Bone involvement of HL is exceptional, which can be localized or part of a disseminated disease.

With today's three-dimensional (3D) printing technology, scaffolds can be customized and personalized, thereby eliminating the problems associated with conventional methods. In this work, after preparing Ti6Al4V/Calcium phosphate (Ti64@CaP) core-shell nanocomposite via a solution-based process, by taking advantage of fused deposition modeling (FDM), porous poly(lactic acid) (PLA)-Ti64@CaP nanocomposite scaffolds were fabricated.

Methods: The literature of this paper was identified through a comprehensive search of electronic datasets including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase in February 2022. Studies that reported the correlation between cognitive status and T1 and T2 weighted lesions in MS patients were selected.
