This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted to determine the use and effects of complementary and alternative medicine on cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. The research was conducted in Daytime Chemotherapy Unit of the College District Outpatients in the Ankara Numune Education and Research Hospital and comprised 397 patients in the oncology outpatients. Methods: We carried out a cross-sectional self-administered study with forced choice and open-ended structured questionnaires - Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Morningness-eveningness Questionnaire, and Maslach Burnout Inventory. Objective: The objective of this study was to determine if a structured workshop on knowledge and management of pressure ulcers (PrUs) for nurses led to an improvement of knowledge in the participants.

Methods: Nurses attended an interactive lecture-based workshop on knowledge and management of PrUs. After the participants were invited into the study, they were asked to take a test consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) about the subjects covered in the presentation.
