Introduction: In this study, we aimed to investigate and compare the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of psychiatric inpatients hospitalized involuntarily and voluntarily. To our knowledge, there is no study analyzing involuntary psychiatric hospitalization in our country.
Method: In this retrospective study, we included a total of 504 patients who were involuntarily or voluntarily hospitalized in Bolu Izzet Baysal Mental Health Hospital between 1 of May and 31 October 2010.

Background: The aim of this study is to compare 3 groups of patients with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and comorbid BDD and OCD with respect to clinical characteristics and to study their similarities and differences.
Methods: Twenty-nine patients diagnosed with BDD, 20 diagnosed with comorbid BDD/OCD and 49 diagnosed with OCD were included in the study. Patients with BDD, comorbid BDD/OCD, and OCD were compared in terms of demographic and clinical variables and scores obtained from various scales.

The aim of this study is to investigate the possible different effects of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and obsessive compulsive symptoms (OCS) on schizophrenia illness in regard to clinical characteristics such as severity of symptomatology. We included 184 patients with schizophrenia on monotherapy with a stable dose of antipsychotics for at least three months. Severity of clinical symptoms was evaluated by Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale.
