Methods: This retrospective cohort study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital involving 106 women who delivered at gestational week 36 or later between February 2022 and February 2023. Maternal, obstetric, and neonatal data were collected from the participant's medical records.

Objective: Incomplete healing after cesarean section (CS) can result in isthmocele formation. When suturing the uterus, fully folding the wound lips may embed the endometrial layer into the myometrium, leading to isthmocele development. Hence, this study aimed to compare the effects of endometrial and non-endometrial suturing on isthmocele development.

Our objective is to compare cord blood afamin levels in neonates born to mothers with and without diabetes, and to explore its relationship with maternal and neonatal variables.
Methods: In this case control study, umbilical cord blood was collected for afamin measurement in pregestational/gestational diabetic pregnancies ( = 40) and healthy pregnancies ( = 45) after delivery.
