Estrogen receptor (ER) signaling is key regulator for maintaining successful pregnancy. Several research suggested that genetic variation in ER genes (ESR)1 and ESR2 is associated with the susceptibility to unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL), often with inconclusive results.
