Screening for social anxiety disorder in students of Jordan universities after COVID-19 pandemic: a cross-sectional survey study.

Objective: To examine the prevalence rate of social anxiety disorder (SAD) among university students in Jordan after the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated predictors.

Design: A cross-sectional online survey study that was conducted in Jordan between January and December 2023.

Can clinicians identify community-acquired pneumonia on ultralow-dose CT? A diagnostic accuracy study.

Background: Without increasing radiation exposure, ultralow-dose computed tomography (CT) of the chest provides improved diagnostic accuracy of radiological pneumonia diagnosis compared to a chest radiograph. Yet, radiologist resources to rapidly report the chest CTs are limited. This study aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of emergency clinicians' assessments of chest ultralow-dose CTs for community-acquired pneumonia using a radiologist's assessments as reference standard.

Depression Among University Students in Jordan After the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Cross-Sectional Study.

Background: University students encounter stressors that make them more susceptible to depression than the general population. Depression negatively impacts mental and physical health. Our study assessed the prevalence of depression among university students in Jordan and its associated predictors after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Social impairment in children with epilepsy assessed by the social responsiveness scale.

Children with epilepsy are at risk for impaired social cognition and autism. We aimed at evaluating the utility of the social responsiveness scale (SRS) for assessment of social impairment in these children. Prospective study; the SRS was applied to a group of children with epilepsy and a healthy control group.
