Autologous adipose-derived tissue stromal vascular fraction and intralesional epidermal growth factor combined application in patients with diabetic foot.

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect on wound healing of intralesional epidermal growth factor (iEGF) (Heberprot-p; Hasbiotech, Cuba) and autologous adipose-derived tissue stromal vascular fraction (AD-tSVF) applied in the closure of tissue defects.

Method: The patients included in the study were separated into three approximately equal groups: Group 1 with iEGF+AD-tSVF applied; Group 2 with iEGF only applied; and Group 3 with conventional wound care products applied. Granulation tissue was taken from the wound bed before the application of iEGF and AD-tSVF and at intervals thereafter for flow cytometry analysis.

The Relationship Between Restless Legs Syndrome and Overactive Bladder: A Cross-Sectional, Controlled Study.

Objectives: We aimed to investigate the common mechanisms in restless legs syndrome (RLS) and overactive bladder (OAB), the prevalence of OAB in RLS, and the effects of RLS treatment on OAB.

Methods: Sixty patients newly diagnosed with RLS and 60 healthy individuals in the control group were included in the study. The patients completed the RLS-Severity Rating Scale and were started on pramipexole for treatment.

A Little-Known Vaginitis-Like Picture: Cytolytic Vaginosis.

Background: Cytolytic vaginosis (CV) is a condition characterized by an increase in lactobacilli in the vaginal flora, causing complaints of discharge, itching, dyspareunia, and dysuria. Since there are no antimicrobials in the treatment protocols of CV, the diagnostic and therapeutic criteria of which were first defined by Cibley, differential diagnosis of CV from other vaginitis agents will prevent unnecessary use of antimicrobials and recurrent com-plaints. In our study, we aimed to determine the frequency of CV in patients presenting with vaginitis complaints and the diagnostic accuracy of the diagnostic criteria.

Aim The aim of this study is to investigate the quality and reliability of YouTube videos containing content related to ovarian cysts. Methods The search terms "Ovarian Cyst", "Ovarian Cyst Symptoms", "Ovarian Cyst Treatment", and "Ovarian Cyst Diagnosis" were searched on YouTube. A total of 110 videos were examined and repetitive videos, non-English videos, videos with advertising content, videos with entertainment and news content, and videos with very poor image and sound quality were excluded.

Secondary alveolar bone grafting may not be feasible in a considerable number of patients who have cleft lip and palate, mainly because of the requirement for sizeable bony restitution and the insufficient amount of soft tissue for reliable coverage. Bone transport distraction and free vascularized bone transfers are the salvage techniques for treating these deformities and accomplishing successful bone grafting. This report presents a case of bilateral cleft lip and palate with a large palatoalveolar fistula and a rudimentary premaxilla after prior failed attempts at bone grafting.
